About the Jamboree

What is the Eden Jamboree?

The Eden Jamboree is our annual single-day friendship tournament for boys and girls from kindergarten through sixth grade. This year marks our 38th Jamboree, and every participating team will play two games.

Where and when is the Jamboree?

The Jamboree will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2027 at Berkeley High School, 2246 Milvia Street, Berkeley, CA.

What height will the basketball hoops be?

All games are played on regulation 10-foot hoops. For our younger players, this provides an opportunity to practice and become more comfortable shooting on a regulation-height basket.

What age groups or divisions are offered?

The tournament is open to teams from E-non (EE) through D Gold (6th grade).

Registration & Teams

How do I register my team?

To register your team, complete the online registration form. Registration is considered complete once we have received your payment, roster, and signed liability waiver.

What is the registration fee?

The registration fee is $450 per team and includes up to 10 players. Additional players are $20 each.

When is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline is Saturday, December 19, 2026. Your registration form, payment, roster, and signed liability waiver must all be submitted by this date.

Can we add or swap players after submitting our roster?

Yes. You may make roster changes after your initial submission, but all rosters must be finalized by February 1, 2027. Once official game sheets are printed, no additional changes or late additions can be accepted.

When will teams know if they have been accepted?

Teams will be notified by email of their acceptance by January 29, 2027.

Is there a minimum or maximum roster size?

Teams must have at least 7 players and may roster up to 14. We recommend keeping rosters smaller when possible to help ensure adequate playing time for each player.

Schedule & Games

When will the schedule be released?

Game schedules and venue maps will be emailed to coaches and team managers approximately 2–3 weeks before the Jamboree.

Can we request a specific game time or make schedule changes?

Once the schedule is released, we are unable to make changes.

If your team has a scheduling request, please submit it no later than January 1, 2027. We will do our best to accommodate requests received by the deadline, but accommodations cannot be guaranteed.

Where can I find the Jamboree game rules?

Food, Concessions & Apparel

Will concessions be available?

Yes. A full snack bar will be available throughout the Jamboree with hot and cold food, snacks, and drinks. Come hungry!

Will apparel be available for purchase?

Yes. Eden Jamboree T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available for purchase at the event and through advance ordering. We will share the advance-order link before the Jamboree. Popular sizes may sell out, so we recommend ordering ahead.

How can I pay for concessions and apparel?

We accept cash, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for concessions and apparel. Cash is encouraged.
